We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
ASCEND Charities provides a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can learn and grow without fear of judgment. We believe that true growth happens when people feel safe to explore new ideas, make mistakes, and ask questions. Our programs are designed to be a sanctuary for personal development, where each individual’s journey is respected and celebrated. We are committed to fostering a community where encouragement and understanding are the foundations of all we do.

— Our Story
Founders, Elijah Murray and Latonia Thompson, have served together on other charitable ventures in the past. They both are passionate about reaching out to the community to assist those in need.
They bring a holistic approach to helping fill the needs of those less fortunate in their community.
They decided to combine a food pantry, with a mentorship program, a resource center, and a job readiness and training program.
